Sagge Compliance Free Trial Terms
These terms apply to the 7-day free trial of Sagge Compliance (“we”, “us”, “our”) for UK dental practices. By ticking the box when you sign up, you agree to them.
1. The free trial
The free trial lets a dental practice try Sagge Compliance for 7 days, free of charge.
- It is open to dental practices in the UK.
- Each practice may have one free trial. We use the email address and phone number given at sign-up to check this, and may refuse a trial if either has been used for a trial before.
- We do not ask for card or payment details, and you will not be charged anything during or after the trial unless you choose a plan.
- We may change or withdraw the free trial offer at any time. This does not affect a trial that has already started.
2. Signing up and logging in
Your 7 days start the first time you log in, not when you sign up.
- After you sign up, we email your login details to the address you gave. The person who signs up becomes the account holder for the practice.
- You can change your password once you have logged in. Keep your login details private.
- If you do not log in within 7 days of signing up, we remove the signup. You can then sign up again.
3. What the trial includes
During the trial you can use every module of Sagge Compliance, with these limits:
| Feature | During the trial |
|---|---|
| Modules | All modules (Complete plan) |
| Staff | Up to 10 staff, plus the account holder |
| Compliance library | Browse all documents; open or download up to 5 |
| CPD certificates | Courses can be completed; certificates unlock when you subscribe |
| Practices | One practice |
The limits are lifted as soon as you subscribe.
4. When the trial ends
If you have not subscribed, your account is locked at the end of day 7, and your practice and all its data are permanently deleted on day 14.
| Day (from your first login) | What happens |
|---|---|
| Day 5 | We email to remind you the trial ends in 2 days |
| Day 7 | The trial ends and the account is locked. You and your staff can log in only to see that the trial has ended; QR clock-in stops. Nothing is deleted yet |
| Days 10 and 13 | We email to remind you of the deletion date |
| Day 14 | Your practice and everything in it are permanently deleted: staff accounts, rotas, records, uploaded documents and files |
- Subscribe at any time before day 14 to unlock the account with everything kept.
- Deleted data cannot be recovered. If you want a copy of anything you added, download it before the trial ends, or contact us before day 14 and we can reopen your account for a short time so you can download it.
- We may give you more time at our discretion. If we do, we will tell you the new dates by email.
5. Subscribing
You can choose a plan at any time up to day 14 and carry on with everything you set up.
- Choose a plan on our website using the “Choose a plan” link in the app or in our emails, so we can move your trial onto your plan.
- Your staff, rotas, records and documents are kept, the trial limits are lifted, and CPD certificates earned during the trial unlock.
- Your subscription is covered by the Sagge Compliance Membership Agreement, which sets out the fees and terms. You will be asked to sign it in the app. These trial terms end when your subscription starts.
6. Your data
You decide what you add during the trial, and we use it only to provide the trial to you.
- You are responsible for the information you add, including your staff's personal details, and for having a lawful basis under UK data protection law to add it. We process it on your behalf, as described in our privacy notice.
- We may contact you by email or phone about your trial, for example to help you get set up or to talk about plans.
- If you do not subscribe, your practice's data is permanently deleted as set out in section 4. Copies in our routine backups are removed as those backups expire.
- So that each practice has only one free trial, we keep a short record of the practice name, email address, phone number and trial dates for 2 years after the trial ends.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by contacting us.
7. Fair use, liability and contact
Fair use. Use the trial only to try Sagge Compliance for your own practice. Do not share login details outside your practice, try to get round the trial limits, or copy, resell or pass on our compliance library or course content. We may end a trial early if these terms are broken.
Compliance support only. Sagge Compliance helps you organise, track and evidence your compliance activity. It is not regulatory, legal or professional advice and does not guarantee the outcome of any CQC, GDC or other inspection. Meeting your practice's regulatory obligations remains your responsibility.
Liability. The trial is free and provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the trial, including the loss of data deleted as set out in section 4. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
